Our wood decking is built from a Pressure Treated Red Wood structure and Pressure Treated Spruce Deck Boards. our pressure treated posts are set in concrete to ensure they last. All fixings are galvanised so they don't rust and fail over time. We exceed regulations when building our decks so that they are rock solid when completed. We do this by using larger timbers, installing them closer together and dipping every piece we cut in rot treatment preserver. If possible we always try slope the deck away from the house and direct the boards in the same direction, this ensures that the water runs off the deck and you don't get any moss build up that can create a slippy deck. It also ensures that the deck stays a lot dryer throughout the year and increases the longevity of the deck.
